About

I’m Ash Logan, a designer and program manager dedicated to sustainable design and empowering communities through impactful solutions. Currently based on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples, I blend my love for creative problem-solving with a commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

At Osei-Duro, I’ve had the opportunity to grow from a marketing assistant to leading the apparel and textile design team. In my current role as Lead Designer, I guide the design process for seasonal collections, ensuring that everything—from trend research and fabric selection to garment construction—aligns with our brand’s vision of sustainability and style. This journey has helped me develop a deep understanding of how to lead cross-functional teams while keeping the design process rooted in integrity and innovation.

I’m also passionate about my work with the Osei-Duro Foundation’s Reruns Program, where I manage skill-building workshops for women in recovery in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. This role allows me to combine my design skills with a hands-on approach to community development, which is deeply rewarding.

As the founder of Riinu Studio, I’ve committed myself to producing textile products that prioritize sustainability, local materials, and minimizing waste. This entrepreneurial venture allows me to apply my expertise in pattern drafting, garment construction, tech pack development, and sustainable design on my own terms.

My academic work includes co-editing Fibre Stories, a publication born from my research with the Fibreshed Field School project. This research explored the intersections of regional textiles and ecological design, and has been a key part of my efforts to balance creative practice with scholarly inquiry.

I’m always seeking new opportunities to combine my design background with my passion for sustainability and community engagement. Whether through fashion, program management, or research, I’m driven by a desire to create meaningful change through design.
